Abstract

An automatic water-drainage valve comprises a valve seat bush 7 with an axial inflow bore 9 from which lead radial outflow bores 12, and a spring 14 loads a valve closure part 11 in the opening direction and is located in a chamber 13 through which the fluid medium does not flow. The chamber 13 is in a readily removable construction unit which comprises inter alia the seat bush 7, a hood 8, the closure part 11, the spring 14, and an adjustable spring abutment stopper 15. In use, the part 11 closes automatically when the water pressure reaches a pre-set value. <IMAGE>
