Abstract
A device comprises a transformer (1) the primary winding (2) of which is provided with a tapping (5), a double-pole reactive element connected to a power source and to the primary winding (2), and a group of controllable rectifiers (8, 9) with anti-parallel connection, the common output of that group being connected, together with the double-pole reactive element, to the power source, whereas another common output is electrically connected to the primary winding (2). A double-pole reactive element is executed as a reactor (7) the electric connection of which to the primary winding (2) is effected through connection of its output to one of the ends of that winding, whereas the electric connection of the group of controllable rectifiers (8, 9) with anti-parallel connection to the primary winding (2) is effected through connection of its other common output to the tapping (5).
