Abstract

205,740. Hill, W. J. Dec. 20, 1922. Hasp fastenings; hasp locks.-A hasp is secured in a slotted casing by the engagement of a cranked sliding member over its outer face. The hasp 4 having the usual projection 5 entering a slot 11 in the casing 9 is secured by the end 23 of the sliding bolt 19 cranked at 24 to enable it to protrude through the slot 12 in the casing. The bolt 19 is operated against its spring 21 by the boss 16. A key-operated bolt may be employed for securing the bolt 19 against finger operation. The casing is dished as at 9 and a cover-plate 8 fitted into the cavity.
