Abstract

10,133. Marino, P. July 12. Aluminium, tin, nickel, copper, zinc, iron, and alloys thereof, depositing; phosphates, obtaining.-An electrolyte for plating is prepared by using one of the above metals as anode in a strong solution of sodium pyrophosphate to which has been added phosphoric acid, say 10 per cent, and sulphanilic acid, say 5-15 percent. A soluble anode is also used during plating. For depositing alloys, solutions of the individual metals are prepared separately in the same way and then mixed, an alloy of the required composition, or separate anodes, being provided for the plating.
