3441. Brokaw, W. G. March 3. Body attachments, inflatable.-An inflatable lifebuoy has substantially the shape of a sailor's collar and is adapted to be secured and unsecured by the collar of a garment. Figs. 1 and 3 show a bag 2 which is inflatable by the pipe 10 and is secured to a sailor's collar by press-buttons 14 and provided with straps 16, which are crossed and retained in position by press-buttons 19, Fig. 3, but when required may be passed under the arms, as shown in Fig. 1, and secured in front. In another form, the bag is detachably mounted between two layers of flannel or the like which form the collar, one edge of the collar being open and provided with press-buttons in order that the bag may be inserted between the layers of material.
