Abstract

27,334. Clark, H. C. Nov. 28. Roller bearings.-In a self-alining roller bearing having barrelshaped rollers running on curved tracks, the inner race - ring B has side flanges b<1> to prevent displacement of the rollers when subjected to end thrusts. The inner race may be grooved as shown in Fig. 3. The outer race is spherical, and may consist of two parts A, Fig. 5, adjusted in a flanged casing F by a nut e. In a modification, the middle sections of the rollers are cylindrical, the outer race being spherical and the inner race cylindrical.
