Abstract

25,545. Phillips, J. Nov. 16. Aerated sprayers. - A spraying - nozzle comprises two cylinders a, b each provided with a star-shaped orifice c, Figs. 1 and 2. The interior of the cylinder b has attached a plate d and the cylinder a has attached a plate e. The latter is provided with liquid grooves g which extend to orifices at the points h of the star-shaped mouth c. Liquid is fed to the space f by a pipe i, and air passes up through the cylinder a. The bottom of the cylinder h has a ring m formed with notches to accommodate lugs n on the cylinder a so that the star-shaped mouths on both cylinders shall correspond.
