Abstract

Screens, furniture. -A screen made of corrugated pasteboard is so constructed that it can have a smooth paper or other layer stuck upon its two outer sides and yet can be rolled up. Fig. 1 shows a screen consisting of two corrugated layers W, W<1>, with their smooth sides E outwards, and a loose separating layer F between them, while in Fig. 2 the two layers are replaced by an endless band W. The layers are held together at the top and bottom by ties V; or a number of clamp-shaped members U, V, Figs. 3 and 4, held together by chains T, may be used.
