Current motors.-A water-wheel or windmill, actuated by a stream flowing at right-angles to the axis of rotation, comprises a series of blades C mounted between two open or closed disks B secured to a spindle D. The blades form arcs of circles tangential to the outer edge of the disks B, and terminate at a circle upon which the centres of curvature are situated.
