Abstract

22,382. Mehr, J. M. de Mendoza Ver-, [Wemlinger, J. R.]. Sept. 27. Shoring.-The walls of ditches or trenches are shored by interlocking corrugated metal sheets 1 driven behind longitudinal members 4 which are held in position by struts 5. The lower ends of the metal sheets may be driven into the bottom of the trench, or may be secured by additional longitudinal members and stuts. Overlapping parts of adjacent metal sheets may be wedged together by denting one of the sheets as at 8 to form a projecting portion.
