Abstract
195,907. Eschbach, W. July 24, 1922. Explosives. - A primer c partially or wholly comprising fulminate of mercury is enclosed in an inner casing b of brass, copper, or celluloid situated above a main detonating charge d of tetranitromethylaniline or trinitrotoluene in an aluminium outer casing a. The fulminate primer may be surmounted by an initial priming charge f of lead azide, lead trinitroresorcinate, or lead hexaminate; and there may be a touch hole in the top of the inner casing covered by a disc e of nitrocellulose or celluloid.
