Abstract

186,543. Ballatore, A. A. Dec. 13, 1921. Spring hinges; wire and like hinges. -A spring hinge for the lids of chocolate or like boxes consists of a wire coil with one or both ends bent to rectangular or similar form 7 for attachment and with one of the free ends returned within the coil. The ends 2, 7 are inserted between the layers of which the box and lid are formed, and are fixed bv adhesive or other means. A fastening-loop on the edge of the lid holds the lid partly open.
