Combination of interdependent valves.-Cold water is supplied through the annular space 15 to a lavatory basin by depressing a handle 28, thus causing a bell-crank lever 24 to lift a valve 6 from its seat. Further actuation of the handle causes the crank-lever to lift a valve 5 whereby steam passes through the central pipe 2 to the drain 21, heating the water passing through the annulus.
