1515648 Windows ELTREVA AG 20 Jan 1977 [20 Jan 1976] 02239/77 Heading E1J A sash window comprises vertically slidable sashes with guide elements 5, 6 engaging in grooves in side members of a fixed frame, the side members comprising uprights with metal cover plates, the grooves having two vertical portions 7 linked by grooves 8, 9 at the bottom and at a level adjacent the top of the bottom sash. The uprights are of wood or metal; the groove of the outer vertical portion is deeper.
