Abstract
1515195 Determination of triglyceride HYCEL Inc 23 July 1976 [5 Aug 1975] 32657/75 Heading G1B [Also in Division C3] The content of triglyceride is assayed in samples containing it, e.g. blood serum by treating the sample with a reagent comprising a lipase which consists of Rhizopus Arrhizus lipase and Candida Cylindracea lipase thereby converting the triglycerides to glycerol and fatty acids which can subsequently be determined. Preferably 16-40 units of Candida Cylindracea lipase and 30-50 units of Rhizopus Arrhizus lipase are provided for the assay of each 0À05 mls sample of said aqueous liquid. The aqueous liquid and lipase may be incubated at 37‹C for 10 minutes.
