Abstract

1510160 Prism spectrographs CARL ZEISS JENA VEB 7 Nov 1975 [15 Aug 1975] 46179/75 Heading G2J In a prism spectrograph having a non achromatizing collimator, the camera lens (or at least one component thereof) has its axis tilted with respect to the optic axis of the instrument when considered in the axial plane giving a principal cross-section of the prism. It is stated that the clarity and resolution of the top and bottom ends of the spectral lines produced in the focal plane are thereby improved.
