Abstract

1509941 Printing inks KONTOR KEMI AS 20 Jan 1976 [21 Jan 1975] 2489/75 Heading C4A [Also in Division C3] A printing ink contains a fluor compound including a branched or unbranched perfluoroalkenyl group of the general formula C n F 2n-1 -. The fluor compound may be a tetrafluoroethylene pentamer of the general formula where X represents an anionic, non-ionic or cationic group, e.g. C 6 H 4 SO 3 Na. C 5 H 4 N(CH 3 ).(CH 3 )SO 4 or (CH 2 CH 2 O) n R wherein R is hydrogen, alkyl or aryl and n is a whole number ranging from 3 to 10. The ink may include one or more pigments, one or more binding agents and one or more solvents, e.g. an organic solvent or water. In the examples, the inks contain acryl copolymer, ethyl alcohol, water, ammonia, trisbutoxy ethyl phosphate, defoamer, fluoro compound, titanium dioxide, carbon black, shellac solutions comprising water, morpholine and bleached shellac, ethyl glycol, chlorinated rubber, chlorinated paraffin wax, phthalocyanine blue, toluene, blue pigment, a varnish containing cyclorubber and mineral oils, a varnish containing phenol resin, tung oil and mineral oil, boiled linseed oil varnish and siccative (5% Co).
