Abstract

1508101 Ear-protectors EXEL OY 16 Feb 1976 [14 Feb 1975] 06016/76 Heading A3V [Also in Division E2] An ear-muff 2 and head-band 1 of a hearing protector are interconnected to allow the muff to be turned and adjusted lengthwise of the band by means including a peg 3 formed with a transverse hole which receives the band 1 together with a member 6, the member bearing with its edge portions against the muff and engaging by a projection 10 on undulations 9 of the band, resilient means such as a packing ring 8 being provided to clamp the band 1 between the member 6 and the peg 3. The muff has a polyhedral surface 11 to provide discrete angular settings.
