Abstract
1503741 Multiple effect evaporator SASAKURA ENG CO Ltd 21 Feb 1975 [22 Feb 1974] 7381/75 Heading BIB A method of solution evaporation in a continuous multiple effect evaporator comprises withdrawing vapour generated from solution in the lowest temperature effect 7d via 30 by means of a steam ejector 24 operated by high pressure steam supplied from an external source and discharging the formed mixture into the condensation side of the heat transfer tubes of the highest temperature effect 7a, and introducing the solution from the lowest temperature effect 7d via 36 and 38 and distributer 26 onto the evaporation side of the heat transfer tubes of effect 7a, whereby the mixture from ejector 24 condenses by heat exchange with the solution which is partly evaporated.
