Abstract

1502857 Valves BRITT TECH CORP 11 Feb 1975 [11 Feb 1974] 5797/75 Heading F2V [Also in Division B1] A flow controller has a mixing chamber 55 the outlet 9 of which is connected to a pump which draws in cleaning fluid through the inlet(s) 10 and/or 11, and water through the inlet 8, and between the valve member 48 and seat 64. The mixing chamber 55 is in communication with the underside of the diaphragm 35, which under the control of springs 39, 63 will thus react to any variation in downstream pressure to move the valve member 48 in a direction to maintain the water flow constant.
