Abstract

1435057 Fiber in open-end spinning machine SOC ANON DES ATELIERS HOUGET DUESBERG BOSSON 22 Feb 1974 [28 Feb 1973] 8289/74 Headings DID and DIN An open-end spinning machine has an opening roller 2 arranged in a housing and provided with spikes for drawing a sliver into the housing and opening the same, a spinning rotor 11 arranged in the housing with an inwardly bent flange, and an exit tube 5 for yarn, a feeder assembly comprising a spiked feed roller 20 being arranged to be movable linearly to vary its distance from the opening roller. As shown the movability is by means of a slot 28 in the machine frame. Alternatively the slot may be provided in the opener baseplate 26. The baseplates at each spinning station in a spinning machine may be rigidly interconnected to allow adjustment of them all simultaneously.
