Circular-saw machines.-In devices for severing fingerrings and of the kind wherein a circular saw d is mounted in a holder b provided with a handle a and with a lever e by which the ring g is pressed against the saw, the lever is pivoted to the holder so as to project on both sides of it, whereby finger pressure on the end e<1> of the lever causes the ring to be pressed up to the saw, and a recess is formed in the lever to receive the teeth of the saw in the last stage of the cutting to prevent injury to the finger wearing the ring. The saw is turned by a knob c'.
