Abstract

1430346 Fibre dosing mechanism for a flocking device U MAAG and E SCHENK (trading as MAAG & SCHENK] 5 Feb 1974 [21 Feb 1973] 05172/74 Heading D1N A dosing mechanism for a flocking device comprises a perforated screen 12 over which a brush 13 or similar passes, the holes in the screen 12 each have a bent up edge. The bent up edges face the direction from which the brush advances thus distorting the bristles 15 to give a flicking action to project fibres 18 through the holes. The screen 12 is suitably made from expanded metal.
