Abstract

1425187 Stencilling processes and apparatus J ZIMMER 7 May 1973 [28 June 1972 and 9 Oct 1972] 21588/73 Heading B6C In a screen printing process colours are applied to a carpet 1, 2 at successive stations 7 to 10 and the entire printed multicoloured pattern is overprinted non-imagewise at station 11 with a paste of such composition that the coloured pastes of the pattern are caused to spread downwardly throughout the entire depth of the pile. Fig. 2 (not shown) illustrates a series of cylindrical stencils with internal magnetically attracted squeegee rollers the last being non-imaged whilst Fig. 3 (not shown) shows a modified open-ended container type doctor for the cylindrical stencil applying the composition.
