Abstract

1405273 Knitting machine cams VYZKUMNY a VYVOJOVY USTAV ZAVODU VSEOBECNEHO STROJIRENSTVI 14 Sept 1972 42748/72 Heading D1C In a cam assembly for a multi-feed cylinder and dial knitting machine, a sliding block 3 is adjustable in a first direction and has an elongated recess in which a pin 10 is adjustable in a second direction which is substantially perpendicular to the first and which is the direction of movement of the needles, the pin carrying a stitch cam 15 and an abutment 7 each of which is mounted between cam elements mounted on the assembly. Block 3 and pin 10 are slidable against the action of springs 6, 11 by the conical ends of screws 7, 18 engaging cut-off corners thereof. Projections 22 are provided on some cams to prevent gaps due to adjustment of cam 15 and abutment 17.
