Abstract
1402679 Electronic timepieces SUWA SEIKOSHA KK 24 May 1973 [12 June 1972] 24848/73 Heading G3T In an electronic timepiece, oscillator 2 and frequency divider 3 circuits are supplied with a relatively low D.C. voltage from a battery 1. Converting means 6, 7 produce a relatively high A.C. voltage from the battery and rectifier 9 converts the A.C. voltage into a relatively high D.C. voltage to supply the display circuit 5 and its driving circuit 9. The divider and driving circuits can conveniently be made in the form of integrated circuits while the D.C./A.C. converter circuit 6, the voltage booster circuit are assembled from individual components. Liquid crystal or ferroelectric devices may be used in the display.
