Abstract

1499152 Ribbon cartridges XEROX CORP 5 Feb 1975 4943/75 Heading B8M An endless ink ribbon cartridge comprises a hub 210 about which an endless ribbon 222 is spooled, the ribbon being withdrawn from the centre of the spool and returned to the outside of the spool by a drive roller 233. Sensing means 235, 236, 272, 274 are provided to indicate the portion of the ink ribbon in the operative area 270. The ribbon may comprise a succession of portions of different colour as described in Specification 1,495,071 (see Division B6).
