Abstract

1497926 Electro-photography XEROX CORP 4 March 1975 8908/75 Heading G2H A selenium-arsenic xerographic photo-receptor in a copier is maintained at a constant temperature, not above 40‹C by heating, e.g. by blowing warm air over it. Preferably it is stabilized at 28-38‹C. Heating may take place both before and after charging, developing and image transfer steps, and the photo-receptor may be maintained at the constant temperature for from 10 to 30 minutes.
