Abstract
1495783 Transformers STROMBERG AB OY 10 Feb 1975 5632/75 Addition to 1427980 Heading H1T A voltage transformer similar to that disclosed in the parent Specification 1,427,980, comprises an additional insulator 1<SP>1</SP> similar to the insulator 1. The insulators may be partially overlapping as shown or one may be wholly within the other (Fig. 2, not shown). One of the windings 5 is located between the two insulators and the other winding 4 is located inside the inner insulator. The arrangement is such that the magnetic circuit is broken by both insulators. As shown the winding 5 is conical to fit the space between the stepped end surfaces of the insulators; in the embodiment of Fig. 2 this winding is cylindrical and is separated from the stepped surfaces of the insulators by insulating wedges (13, 13<SP>1</SP>).
