1486500 Moulding pipes PLASTIDRAIN Ltd 6 Nov 1975 46134/75 Heading B5A [Also in Divisions E1 and F2] A prefabricated chamber of circular or other cross-section of plastics material for allowing access to drain (see Divisions E1-E2) is formed by joining two plastics pipes of differing diameter. The smaller pipe 1 has a cut-out 12; the larger pipe 4 is heated and squeezed to the diameter of the smaller pipes and preferably formed on a shaping tool. The two pieces are then joined by welding or adhesives at 12, 13.
