Abstract
Hard materials are charged, without separation into particle size fractions, into aqueous hydrochloric acid and agitated therein. The acidic hard material suspension is then passed through at least two clarifying cyclones arranged in series and fed with fresh water. The suspension free from acid is now pre-dewatered by means of a filter, and is dried. The process can be carried out continuously.
