Abstract
1457682 Purification of dyeing wastes FELTEX Ltd 15 Oct 1974 [22 Oct 1973] 44698/74 Heading C1C Waste water containing dyes, but substantially free from dye complexing retarders, is purified by introducing Fe ions into the waste water by electrolysis with an Fe electrode, forming Fe(OH) 3 by oxidation and removing the Fe(OH) 3 together with the adhering dyes from the water. If retarders are present in the waste water they are removed by ion-exchange.
