Axles and axle structures.-The front axle carries a frame n having two pins n<1> on which a holder or yoke for the springs h supporting the frame is pivoted, so that the axle can rock in a vertical transverse plane. The axle casing is mounted in a torque and thrust member connected by a ball-and-socket joint to the vehicle frame. The front wheels are driven, the propeller shaft passing through one of the pivots n'.
