1447040 IC engine fuel injectors CAV Ltd 29 Nov 1973 [22 Dec 1972] 59564/72 Heading F1B An annular flow-path 18 between the valve element 14 and the body 10 downstream of a groove 16 in the element in permanent communication with an inlet 17 in the body and upstream of the seat 12 has a width adjacent the groove such that dirt particles will be retained in the groove. The side walls of the groove 16 are normal to the longitudinal axis of the element 14.
