Abstract

1443256 Handle for printed circuit board PRECITEC GES FUR PRAZISIONSTECHNIK UND ELEKTRONIK mbH 3 June 1974 [9 June 1973] 24450/74 Heading H1R A handle for a printed circuit board comprises an elongate member having a slot in which the board is received and a retaining member mounted on the elongate member having a sharp edged projection located and formed so as to yield when the board is being inserted and to tend to dig into the surface of the inserted board so as to resist its withdrawal. As shown, slot 3 in member 2 widens inwardly from opening 7 so as to retain one or more sheet steel retaining members 4 with symmetrically disposed inwardly directed ends. Groove 6 is for centring the inserted board. Other forms of retaining member are disclosed including one mounted on the outside of member 2 by its own resilience (Fig. 5, not shown), or riveted to it (Fig. 6, not shown).
