Abstract

1440348 Wrapping; endless conveyers SKODA NARODNI PODNIK 2 Oct 1973 [26 Jan 1973] 46053/73 Headings B8C and B8A Conveying apparatus comprises a feeding channel 1 along which boxes are conveyed by pivoted arms (3) on a pair of endless chains (2) to vanes 6 mounted on horizontally and vertically movable holders 7 and 9 respectively, the vanes lifting the boxes to a pusher 24 which pushes the boxes and a wrapper W into a shaping sleeve 29. The holder 7 is moved horizontally on arms 8 of holder 9 before the holder 9 is lowered to permit a fresh row of boxes to be formed. The pivoted arms (3) are held in a box engaging position by screw mounted arms (4). The drive for cam discs 17, 23, 27 which reciprocate the holders 7, 9 and pusher 24 is detected by a box engaging a switch at the end of the channel 1. There are two layers of boxes in the channel 1.
