Abstract

133,810. Jones, D. H. Nov. 6, 1918 Addition to 16437/15. Pots.-In a teapot such as is described in the parent Specification, in which the lid and strainer are held in place by projections on the lid or strainer passing through slots in the mouth of the pot or. spout, cam-shaped grooves are formed in the pot which which the projections engage, so that on turning the lid or strainer it is locked in position. Alternatively, the projections may be formed on the pot and engage with cam-shaped surfaces on the lid or strainer, The latter arrangement is shown in Fig. 2, projections E, E<1> on the pot passing through slots F, F<1> in the lid and strainer respectively and engaging with cam-shaped sur. faces G, G<1>. A supplementary strainer may be provided fitting inside the ordinary strainer and' held in place by it.
