Abstract
1335612 Printed circuits W KRAUSE 19 April 1971 [26 Feb 1970] 22216/71 Heading H1R A method of making a printed circuit board starting with a synthetic plastics carrier plate 1 having a layer of copper 2 on one face, a layer of other metal 3 on the copper said layer 3 being resilient and a layer of resist material 4 capable of being exposed and developed on the metal, comprises exposing and developing the resist material so that the remaining material corresponds to the desired electrically conducting portions, etching the exposed metal layer, removing the remaining copying material, etching the exposed copper and then removing the remaining portions of the metal layer. The metal layer may be chromium, nickel or lead and the copying or resist material may be such as to be developed by water.
