Abstract

1333745 Warehousing systems CRISPLANT AS 19 April 1971 [23 March 1970] 13816/70 Heading B8E In a storage system in which goods are moved by trolleys from a loading station to multistorey racks, means are provided for moving or guiding the trolleys directly to and from the storage locations at the different levels and for transferring the goods between trolleys and storage locations. As described, the trolleys are self-propelled and run on rails, Fig. 1, ramps being provided between different-levels. Alternatively, Fig. 6, the trolleys may be raised on sections of track 70 which are moved up and down between adjacent storage units. Fig. 7 shows another embodiment in which the trolleys are raised by a lift 80 of the pater-noster type. Fig. 4 (not shown) illustrates a trolley with forks for transferring the goods.
