Abstract

1332301 Endless conveyers W J MORRAY ENG Ltd 2 Nov 1970 [1 Aug 1969] 38743/69 Heading B8A A portable conveyer comprises a wheeled chassis 10, a turntable 11 mounted on the chassis at 22 to be oscillated about a vertical axis by driven wheels 23 and an endless conveyer 13 mounted on the turntable for pivotal movement about a horizontal axis by an hydraulic ram 36. The conveyer is formed in two parts 30, 31, the latter 31 being pivoted from a position in alignment with the first part 30 to a position thereabove. The wheels 23 are driven by a motor (40) Fig. 2 (not shown) with a reversing switch (41) which engages lugs (42) arranged towards the ends of the support track (24) for the wheels (23), whereby to automatically oscillate the turntable and hence the conveyer 13. The outer portions (27) of the track 24 may be pivotable at (28), detachable or withdrawable to facilitate transport of the conveyer. A conveyer 15 feeds the load to the conveyer 13.
