Abstract

1330778 Stockable and nestable crates FREYA-PLASTIC FRANZ DELBROUK GmbH 27 May 1971 [17 July 1970] 17674/71 Heading B8P Cups 17 for yoghurt are located on the intersections 8 of the webbed base 6 of a nestable and stackable, injection moulded plastics crate 1 by inclined portions 18 formed in base webs 11, 13. The cups 17 may project above the crate rim 2 so that they can locate within shoulders 15, Figs. 1, 4 formed in the base webs 10, 12 of a superimposed crate to produce a stable stack of filled crates. The shoulders 15 may be replaced by depending edges (124, Figs. 9, 10) formed on annular webs (122) surrounding the intersections (108, Fig. 8). Ventilation apertures 20 and reinforcing ribs (16, Fig. 5) may be provided at the intersections. The base 6 may be provided with an outer frame (7, Fig. 2). The outer flange 2a of the U-shaped rim 2 has a greater depth in the corners (Fig. 6).
