1327105 Bags WINDMOLLER & HOLSCHER 2 Dec 1970 [7 Jan 1970] 57296/70 Heading B8K A bag is made from an open ended tube of paper or plastics film, the tube having a coating of adhesive extending without interruption around the outside of the base of the tube, which is folded to form side folds 16 and 17, and end folds 19 stuck by the adhesive to the outside of the side folds. Each end fold may have a rectangular flap 18. The side folds may abut or overlap each other. The adhesive may be a heatactivated or a self adhering adhesive. In the latter case the inside surface of an overlapping side fold and of the rectangular flaps 18 may be surface activated by a corona discharge. A cover sheet may be stuck over most of the side and end folds.
