Abstract
1316723 Gas turbine plant LENINGRADSKY METALLICHESKY ZAVOD IMENII XXII SIEZDA KPSS 31 March 1971 8355/71 Heading F1G In a plant comprising in series flow a compressor, combustion chamber and a gas turbine, the temperature of the gas entering the turbine is regulated by sensors which detect temperature and pressure of the working fluid entering the compressor and which control the fuel supply to the combustion chamber. The plant comprises low and high-pressure compressors 1, 2, corresponding turbines 3, 4 and combustion chambers 5, 6 all inter-connected by a working fluid duct 9. The latter includes a restriction 11 upstream of each compressor 1, 2 and having an associated pressure drop sensor 13. A branch duct 10 from a point upstream of each compressor 1, 2 to a point upstream of corresponding turbine 3, 4 includes a further restriction 12, having associated pressure drop sensor 14, and a valve 15 controlled by a temperature sensor 16. The pressure sensors 13, 14 are linked by a common rod 17 to a servovalve 18 controlling a servomotor 19 of each fuel valve 7. Thus if sensor 16 detects a change in temperature of the working fluid entering the compressor it adjusts valve 15 causing a change in pressure drop across restriction 12 and a corresponding adjustment, via sensor 14, of fuel valve 7.
