Abstract

1399922 Laminates GEORGE H WHEATCROFT & CO Ltd 22 Nov 1973 [30 Aug 1972] 40138/72 Heading B5N [Also in Division B8] A label assembly comprises a strip of separate labels made of fabric, the labels being applied to a carrier strip coated with adhesive, the label fabric being treated in such a way that the labels can be peeled from the strip free from adhesive. The assembly may be made by applying adhesive to one face of a strip of carrier material, treating one face of a strip of fabric with a release agent, joining the treated faces of the carrier material and fabric and cutting the fabric. The carrier strip may be of silicone coated paper, the adhesive may be a crosslinking acrylic emulsion and the fabric may be an acetate fabric coated with a paraffin emulsion as release agent.
