Abstract
1387556 Polyolefin moulding compositions CHEMIE LINZ AG 9 July 1973 [10 July 1972] 32598/73 Heading C3P Moulding compositions for the production of bottle closures comprise (1) 89À0-94À0 weight per cent of polypropylene having a melt index of 0À1-1À0 g./10 mins. and a density of 0À85- 0-95 g./c.c. and (2) 6À0-11À0 weight per cent of high pressure polyethylene having a melt index of 15-25 g./10 mins. and a density of 0À918- 0-920 g./c.c. The compositions may be injection moulded to form closures, e.g. crown closures, which withstand pasteurization.
