1384865 Prostanoic acids G D SEARLE & CO 6 June 1972 [11 June 1971] 21199/74 Divided out of 26351/72 Heading C2C A mixture of a major amount of a 9α,15α- dihydroxyprostanoic acid and a minor amount of a 9α,15#-dihydroxyprostanoic acid is prepared by contacting a 9,15 -dioxoprostanoic acid with an alkali metal perhydro-9b-boraphenalylhydride. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 851,827, 1,040,544, 1,097,533, 1,198,071, 1,285,372, 1,292,661, 1,299,136 and 1,332,262.
