Abstract

1383823 Automatic control ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 24 March 1972 [26 March 1971] 13979/72 Headings G3N and G3P [Also in Division H3] The position of the piston 12 Fig. 1 of a hydraulic working cylinder 11 is determined by a remote lever 55 operating through electrical circuitry and electro-magnetically operated pilot valves 36, 38 to establish the position of the spool 23 of a control valve, which position is measured by transducer 47 and compared at 52 with the position of the lever 55 as measured by transducer 48. The difference signal is fed through a switching member 53 or 54 and an amplifier 41 or 42 to energize the coil winding 36a or 38a of a pilot valve. The difference signal must exceed a threshold value sensed by unit 50, to open AND gate 44 or 45. The control valve spool 23 may be operated manually by local control lever 30 when remote control lever 55 is in its zero position, causing pilot valve 34 to cut off hydraulic power from the control valve.
