Abstract

1381947 Vehicle steering wheels H A SCULTHORPE and I P SCULTHORPE 8 March 1973 [8 March 1972] 10746/72 Heading B7J [Also in Division H1] A fluid pressure actuated switch 14, Fig. 1, for use in a motor vehicle comprises an expandable tube 13 adapted to open or close electrical contacts and connected in a closed hydraulic system to a resilient tube 11 affixed to or forming part of the underside of the circumference of a steering wheel. The tube 11 may form part of a loose glove fitted to the rim of the steering wheel.
