Abstract
1381356 Fluid control circuits CHARLES TAYLOR (BIRMINGHAM) Ltd 2 July 1973 [16 Aug 1972] 38107/72 Heading F1P When the spool of a valve 16, Fig.1, is moved to the right a piston 10 is displaced by compressed air which passes from a line 18 through a line 13. When the spool is displaced to the left line 13 is isolated from line 18 which is connected to line 17 and lines 14, 19 are connected. Air flows through line 17 and a nozzle 22 thereby producing a pressure drop in a Venturi 21. This is communicated to the piston through lines 19, 14 and the piston is retracted. Fig.2 (not shown), illustrates a modified nozzle. Liquid may be used in the circuit rather than gas.
