Abstract

1378967 Hair rollers L'OREAL 12 June 1972 [10 June 1971] 27402/72 Heading A4V A hair roller has a sleeve 1 forming part of a substantially tubular body, and a retaining member 9 hinged at one end of the body for retaining hair around the body, the retaining member having a transverse arm 10 for fastening in slots 4 of the sleeve, the body and the retaining member being hinged together by a strip of film 13 formed integrally with the body and the retaining member to allow pivoting of the retaining member about an axis which is substantially perpendicular to the axis of the body. As shown the sleeve is formed of plastics material and has perforations 3. The body of the hair roller shown further includes a stopper 5 having a cylindrical bearing 14 on which is provided a rotatable ring 12.
